Malvern Private Hospital is a dedicated 27 bed medical & addiction recovery hospital located in suburban East Malvern, Victoria. The Hospital has been in existence for many years and prides itself on being a small “community” hospital, providing excellence in nursing care, in a caring and comfortable environment. Malvern Private Hospital is wholly dedicated to providing an in-house Addiction Recovery Program (ARP). Through the Addiction Recovery Program) Malvern Private Hospital offers high quality care and treatment for patients with alcohol and addictions. The Addiction Recovery Program is an in-patient, abstinence based program, encompassing the elements of Detoxification and Rehabilitation. The average length of stay for patients admitted to the ARP is 28 days. Services are offered in a comfortable, friendly surrounding as supported by highly trained and caring staff. Spacious accommodation includes single and shared rooms. |
Patients are admitted under the care of Specialist Addiction Medicine doctors. Care throughout the program is provided by specialist Clinical Counsellors, Nursing staff and Allied Health practitioners. Specialist physicians attend the hospital daily.
